Itraconazole 1% w/w + Terbinafine 1% w/w, 15g Cream is a topical combination used for susceptible fungal skin infections. It provides local antifungal treatment and is not a substitute for systemic treatment of invasive infection.
How to use
Wash and dry the affected skin, then spread a thin layer of cream over the affected area and surrounding skin as directed. Wash hands afterwards unless treating them; avoid eyes, mouth and other mucosal surfaces.
How it works
Itraconazole inhibits fungal lanosterol demethylase and terbinafine inhibits squalene epoxidase, disrupting ergosterol production at different steps.
Side effects
Local burning, itching, redness, dryness or irritation can occur.
Important information
Worsening irritation, widespread disease, nail involvement or failure to improve needs reassessment. Avoid adding steroid-combination creams without a specific prescription.

Can a steroid cream make ringworm harder to recognise?
Yes. Steroids can mask and worsen fungal infection, producing altered appearances.
Does it treat bacterial boils?
No. A suspected bacterial infection needs a different assessment.
