Product Introduction

Modafinil 100mg is a wakefulness-promoting medicine used for excessive daytime sleepiness linked with narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea, or shift-work sleep disorder for modafinil treatment. It improves wakefulness but does not cure the underlying sleep disorder and does not replace adequate sleep. In obstructive sleep apnea, airway treatment such as CPAP should usually continue if prescribed because modafinil treats residual sleepiness, not the breathing obstruction. Modafinil should be taken at the time advised for the condition, because late dosing can cause insomnia. It can reduce effectiveness of hormonal contraceptives, so additional contraception may be needed during use and for a period after stopping.

How to use

Take Modafinil 100mg exactly as prescribed. Morning dosing is common for narcolepsy or sleep apnea, while shift-work dosing is timed before the work period. Avoid late dosing unless directed.
