Product Introduction

Aripiprazole 20mg is an atypical antipsychotic used for conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, irritability associated with autism, Tourette disorder, and as add-on treatment for depression when prescribed. It is a dopamine D2 and serotonin receptor modulator, so it can reduce psychotic symptoms, mood instability, agitation, and relapse risk without working like a sedative alone. Important risks include akathisia, restlessness, insomnia, sleepiness, nausea, weight or sugar changes, cholesterol changes, tremor, extrapyramidal symptoms, impulse-control problems, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, tardive dyskinesia, low blood pressure, seizures, and suicidal thoughts in vulnerable patients.

How to use

Take Aripiprazole 20mg once daily or as prescribed, with or without food. Any dose reduction, missed-dose plan, or medicine switch should be discussed with the treating clinician.
