Enoxaparin 300mg/3mL Injection Vial

Enoxaparin 300mg/3mL Injection Vial is a low-molecular-weight heparin anticoagulant used to prevent or treat harmful blood clots. Its uses include deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, clot prevention around surgery or reduced mobility, and selected acute coronary syndromes.
Enoxaparin is usually injected under the skin, not into a muscle. Rotate injection sites and do not rub the area afterwards. Home injection requires practical training. Some acute heart-attack regimens include an intravenous dose given by the clinical team; this is not an instruction for home IV use.
Enoxaparin enhances antithrombin activity, inhibiting factor Xa more strongly than thrombin. This reduces new clot formation and extension of existing clots.
Side effects may include injection-site bruising, bleeding, anemia, low platelets, raised liver enzymes, and rarely serious spinal bleeding with neuraxial procedures.
Monitor for bleeding. Tell clinicians before surgery, dental work, spinal anesthesia, or new medicines. Kidney function and platelet monitoring may be needed.
Helps prevent clot growth and new clot formation, reducing risk of serious complications such as pulmonary embolism under monitored care.
Enoxaparin 300mg/3mL is used to prevent or treat harmful blood clots.
No. It limits clot extension and new clot formation while the body gradually clears the existing clot. It is not a thrombolytic medicine that directly dissolves a clot.
No. It contains 100mg per mL and 300mg across the full 3mL. The prescribed dose must be measured separately; the full vial is not automatically one dose.
Watch for unusual bleeding, black stools, blood in urine, severe headache, sudden weakness, or extensive bruising.
Do not stop without medical advice because clot risk can return.
Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, low platelet counts, a history of bleeding, or if you recently had surgery or a spinal procedure. Also mention if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you take aspirin, warfarin, clopidogrel, NSAIDs, or any other blood-thinning medicines.
