Diclofenac 100mg SR Tablets

Diclofenac 100mg SR Tablets provide sustained-release treatment for inflammatory pain, swelling and stiffness in arthritis and selected musculoskeletal conditions, including back pain, sprains and strains.
Take the sustained-release tablet with or just after food and swallow it whole. Do not crush or chew it. Avoid combining it with ibuprofen, naproxen or another diclofenac product, because duplicated NSAID exposure increases stomach, kidney and cardiovascular risks.
Diclofenac inhibits COX enzymes, reducing prostaglandin formation. This decreases pain, swelling, stiffness, and inflammatory signalling.
Possible effects include indigestion, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea, gas, dizziness, headache, rash, swelling, and raised blood pressure. Serious warning signs include black stools, vomiting blood, chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe wheeze, jaundice, reduced urine, severe rash, or facial swelling.
Avoid duplicate NSAIDs. Tell your doctor about ulcer history, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, kidney/liver disease, asthma, pregnancy, breastfeeding, anticoagulants, antiplatelets, steroids, SSRIs/SNRIs, ACE inhibitors, ARBs, diuretics, lithium, and methotrexate. Avoid NSAIDs from 20 weeks of pregnancy unless specifically necessary under obstetric supervision, and avoid them from 30 weeks because of fetal kidney and heart risks.
Reduces inflammatory pain and stiffness, improving movement and comfort in selected short-term or monitored chronic pain conditions.
Diclofenac 100mg is used for pain, swelling, and stiffness caused by inflammatory or musculoskeletal conditions.
No. Swallow sustained-release tablets intact; crushing or chewing can disrupt their release system.
