Etoricoxib 60mg + Thiocolchicoside 4mg Tablets
SKU GME183
Product Introduction
Etoricoxib 60mg + Thiocolchicoside 4mg combines etoricoxib, a selective COX-2 anti-inflammatory pain reliever, with thiocolchicoside, a skeletal muscle relaxant. It is used for painful muscle spasm or acute musculoskeletal pain when a clinician considers both inflammation control and muscle-relaxant action appropriate. It is not a routine long-term pain medicine and should be used cautiously in people with heart, stomach, liver, kidney, or blood-pressure risk.
How to use
Take Etoricoxib 60mg + Thiocolchicoside 4mg exactly as prescribed, preferably at the same time each day. It may be taken with or without food, but food can reduce stomach discomfort. Avoid alcohol and driving if dizziness or sleepiness occurs. Do not combine it with other NSAIDs unless the prescriber confirms it.
How it works
Etoricoxib blocks COX-2 mediated prostaglandin production, reducing pain and inflammation. Thiocolchicoside acts on muscle-relaxant pathways to reduce painful spasms and improve movement.
Common side effects
Possible effects include stomach discomfort, nausea, dizziness, sleepiness, headache, swelling, raised blood pressure, diarrhoea, or heartburn. Serious concerns include allergic reaction, stomach bleeding, liver injury, kidney problems, severe skin reaction, chest pain, stroke-like symptoms, or marked drowsiness.
Important information
Review heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke history, stomach ulcer or bleeding, liver or kidney disease, asthma with NSAIDs, pregnancy, breastfeeding, seizure history, alcohol use, anticoagulants, aspirin, steroids, lithium, diuretics, ACE inhibitors, ARBs, and other pain medicines.
