Tranexamic Acid 500mg + Etamsylate 250mg tablet combines an antifibrinolytic with a haemostatic agent for selected bleeding conditions, including heavy menstrual bleeding where prescribed. The cause of abnormal bleeding still needs assessment.
How to use
Take the tablets during the bleeding period according to the specifically prescribed course. Treatment timing and duration depend on the bleeding disorder; it is not a continuous contraceptive regimen.
How it works
Tranexamic acid inhibits plasminogen activation and slows fibrin-clot breakdown; etamsylate supports primary haemostasis and capillary stability.
