Product Introduction

Sitagliptin 100mg is an oral DPP-4 inhibitor used for adults with type 2 diabetes for sitagliptin treatment. It helps raise active incretin hormone levels after meals, increasing glucose-dependent insulin release and reducing glucagon release when blood sugar is high. This treatment is for type 2 diabetes and is not used for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.

How to use

Take Sitagliptin 100mg as prescribed, with or without food. Keep glucose monitoring and HbA1c follow-up. Dose should match kidney function and the wider diabetes plan.

Review kidney function/eGFR, pancreatitis history, heart failure, insulin or sulfonylurea use, allergy history, pregnancy, breastfeeding, glucose-monitoring plan, and symptoms of severe joint pain or blistering skin disease.
