Fluticasone Propionate 50mcg Nasal Spray 10mL is a corticosteroid nasal spray used for allergic rhinitis. Regular local treatment reduces nasal congestion, sneezing, itching and runny nose caused by allergy.
How to use
Shake the bottle gently and prime away from your face before first use. Blow your nose, keep your head upright or slightly forward, and aim towards the outer wall of the nostril rather than the nasal septum. Inhale gently as you spray, then wipe the nozzle and replace the cap. Use it regularly for allergy control.
How it works
Glucocorticoid-receptor activation in the nasal lining suppresses inflammatory mediators and allergic inflammation.
Side effects
Nasal irritation, headache and mild nosebleed may occur.
Important information
Nasal injury or surgery, persistent bleeding, glaucoma and strong CYP3A4 inhibitors need review. Nasal sprays are not emergency treatments for an asthma attack.

Can it treat an acute asthma attack?
No. Nasal treatment does not replace a rescue inhaler or emergency care.
What if nosebleeds become frequent?
Tell your doctor if nosebleeds keep recurring. Aiming towards the outer nasal wall rather than the septum may reduce irritation; persistent bleeding can also indicate nasal injury or a need to change treatment.
Can it cause rebound congestion like a decongestant spray?
It does not have the same rebound mechanism as topical vasoconstrictor decongestants.
Does the spray volume identify the dose?
No. Dose depends on medicine released per actuation, not the bottle's total millilitres.
